Tri Nations Rugby

The Tri Nations is an annual rugby union tournament contested between three heavyweight rugby nations - Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. Taking place between July and August, it’s that time of the year again. The All Blacks of New Zealand look likely to head into the tournament as the favourites as they look to wrestle the title back from South Africa who were successful in 2009. Taking place in each of the three nations, the teams play each other 3 times with the winner claiming the Tri Nations cup and the bragging rights that go with it. With Sky Bet you can bet online to predict the winner and conjure your own Tri Nation glory.

Now in its fifteenth year, the Tri Nations have been running since 1996 and has a superb following through rugby union lovers the world over. New Zealand have been the dominant nation throughout with an astonishing 9 titles to their name, while current World Champions and defending Tri Nations holders South Africa have three wins and the All Black’s neighbours, Australia have two titles. The competition was formed to establish a formal tournament between the three rugby greats who have enjoyed intense rivalries for over a century. This year promises to be a cracker, with the ever-dominant All Blacks keen to get their hands back on the trophy and the other two adamant on adding to their paltry record in this tournament.

Bet online on a range of outcomes such as overall winner, winners of individual matches and various specials and in-play betting, meaning every scrum, tackle and try could make you’re a winner this summer!
